LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog 77000 Shadow the Hedgehog price confirmed
The LEGO Group has published a full listing for the newly-revealed 77000 Shadow the Hedgehog, confirming its price and release date worldwide.
Originally unveiled by The Hollywood Reporter ahead of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, 77000 Shadow the Hedgehog is the first Sonic the Hedgehog 18+ set in the Blue Blur’s dedicated theme (rather than the LEGO Ideas theme). The buildable bust sits atop a display stand complete with a nameplate, fitting into the same template as the LEGO Star Wars and Marvel helmets and busts.
77000 Shadow the Hedgehog is now confirmed to cost £59.99 in the UK, $69.99 in the US and €69.99 in Europe, and will be available to purchase from October 1, 2024. There are 720 pieces in the box, which include a Chaos Emerald and three Gold Rings hidden away in the build. You can’t pre-order this one.
While Shadow might seem like an unusual choice for a first Sonic the Hedgehog buildable bust (because, you know, Sonic is right there), Sega is apparently going all-in on the cult character this year – culminating in his debut in the current silver-screen series in December’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3, where he’ll be voiced by Keanu Reeves.
A fresh wave of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets lands on store shelves on August 1, including 76997 Tails’ Adventure Boat, 76998 Knuckles and the Master Emerald Shrine and 76999 Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
