LEGO August 1 GWPs confirmed thanks to Australian online store

Three LEGO GWPs have gone live in Australia for August 1, meaning they’re likely just around the corner for the rest of the world too.

In Australia, purchases of $320 (AUD) and over across all LEGO will earn you 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad until August 8, marking the return of the space-themed gift after its debut in February of this year. There are two more specific GWPs too, the McLaren P1 Logo on all purchases of 42172 McLaren P1 while stocks last or until August 8 and the double pack of 30660 Zoey’s Dream Jet Pack Booster & Z-Blob and Bunchu Spider Escape with purchases of $80 (AUD) or more across LEGO City, LEGO Friends, LEGO DREAMZzz, LEGO Harry Potter, and LEGO NINJAGO.

These deals have gone live now that it’s August 1 in Australia, which means that those deals are likely confirmed for the rest of the world too. $320 (AUD) is in line with the £180 / $200 / €200 minimum spend required for the first time round with 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad. In February, the space GWP was initially restricted to LEGO Insiders and failed to reach the wider market, so this will be a good time to pick up the 325-piece set if you haven’t yet had a chance to.

If you’re unsure what to buy from the wide range of new LEGO sets about to launch on August 1 to get you over those minimum spends, then we’ve rounded up a full list of them here, as well as a closer look at some of the most talked-about sets here – with some shoppers’ advice from us.
