LEGO BrickHeadz Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary GWP confirmed

An official listing has confirmed that 40726 Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary will be an upcoming LEGO BrickHeadz GWP.

The Dark Knight is celebrating his 85th anniversary in 2024, with this year’s Batman Day due to take place on September 21. Ahead of that heroic event, the LEGO Group has already revealed 76328 Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile, a 1,822-piece version of the Caped Crusader’s vehicle that’s due to be launched on October 1, priced at £129.99 / $149.99 / €149.99.

In addition, a new listing on the official Australian online store has now confirmed that 40726 Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary will be released as a GWP at some point, with the promotional model priced at $47.99 AUD. The LEGO BrickHeadz set is essentially an updated version of 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure (although more than twice as expensive as the previous release), this time packaged with eight fold-out stylised posters of the characters that can be constructed with the build,.

40748 Batman 8in1 Figure gives fans the option to make multiple iterations of Bruce Wayne’s alter ego, including Bronze Age Batman, Batman Classic TV Series, Batman (1989), Batman: The Animated Series, Batman The Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman v. Superman, The LEGO Batman Movie and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

While 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure only comes with a manual for assembling the Bronze Age version of Batman, the other seven variants can be built once you’ve downloaded the free LEGO Builder app.

There’s no sign of 40726 Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary on the UK, US or Europe stores just yet, but the LEGO BrickHeadz set is unlikely to be a regional exclusive. It’s possible that the LEGO Batman build might be a free GWP with the upcoming 76328 Batman: The Classic TV Series Batmobile next month, but that’s just speculation on our part for now.

As it stands, there’s currently no release date or spending threshold confirmed for 40726 Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary, but we’ll bring you an update on the LEGO BrickHeadz GWP as soon as we have more details.
