LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 set finalists explained

The results for the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 have been confirmed and we’re here to explain everything about the upcoming sets.

The five sets picked as part of the fifth series of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program have now been revealed, offering a mix of buildings and locales of all shapes, sizes and nostalgia-fuelled experiences.

Of the five models revealed for this round, there are some interesting takeaways – including the lack of a modular building. From Series 6 and likely onwards, any modular building designs will not be allowed as part of the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program. Unfortunately, no such models have been picked for Series 5.

Instead, the team at BrickLink have opted for a shop, an expansion to the previous 910037 Mushroom House and another LEGO Pirates creation as well as more models. You can find out more about this upcoming selection in our new in-depth video.

From an influx of castle creations to a heavily voted build, it’s all explained in our latest YouTube video. Feel free to subscribe to Brick Fanatics on YouTube for more LEGO videos in the future.

While the round may not be to everyone’s tastes, one creation has already proven to be popular and will likely sell out fast when crowdfunding starts. You can take a closer look at these upcoming LEGO BrickLink Designer Program sets by clicking here to read our full written report.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
