LEGO could do a lot with Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2

Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 has been confirmed and since the first had three LEGO sets, there’s a lot of potential for another go at LEGO Ahsoka.

The first season of Star Wars: Ahsoka has finished and it has received three tie-in LEGO sets – 75357 Ghost & Phantom II, 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter. Now, another season has been announced to be in development and there’s still plenty of potential in the series. Note that we’re about to discuss spoilers for the first season of Star Wars: Ahsoka.

We’re likely a long way off from the second season of Star Wars: Ahsoka but thanks to the ending of the first season, we at least have some idea of what to expect. Thrawn’s fleet has made their way to the main galaxy, stranding Ahsoka and Sabine without a way home, but bringing Ezra Bridger a lot closer to the rest of the Rebels crew.

As long as the story continues from this cliffhanger and LEGO Star Wars returns to Ahsoka when its second season releases, it could be another chance for the designers to recreate the ISD Chimaera flagship and more, even from the first season.

Looking at the trio of current Ahsoka sets and their accuracy compared to the series, returning to the first season later on could offer an opportunity for more accurate models. This could come without the risk of spoiling any major story beats from the second season while offering enhanced depictions of previous projects. A recent example of this is the release of 76261 Spider-Man Final Battle following an initial Spider-Man: No Way Home model nearer to the movie’s launch – 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop.

At the time of writing, there’s no official confirmation of LEGO Star Wars: Ahsoka sets for the second season and this likely won’t be the case for some time. It seems plausible, given the availability of 75357 Ghost & Phantom II, 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle and 75364 New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter.

For now, we can at least look forward to The Mandalorian & Grogu and Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 in the future and the former is starting production later this year.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
