LEGO Creator 3-in-1 40691 Mythical Pegasus GWP revealed

A previously-rumoured LEGO Creator 3-in-1 gift-with-purchase has been officially revealed in the shape of 40691 Mythical Pegasus.

More details surfaced last month regarding a potential upcoming LEGO Creator 3-in-1 GWP, with the set’s primary model said to resemble 2023’s 31140 Magical Unicorn. Those claims have now turned out to have some substance, as 40691 Mythical Pegasus has been officially confirmed via a listing on LEGO.com.

40691 Mythical Pegasus is a 278-piece Creator 3-in-1 set that has a retail value of £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.88. The build features a trio of fantasy creatures to construct including the legendary horse with poseable feet, wings, head and tail, as well as a mythical dragon and mythical bird, plus an ancient Greek-style pedestal to display the creations on.

There certainly seem to be plenty of similarities between the primary models in 31140 Magical Unicorn and 40691 Mythical Pegasus, with both boasting an overall white colour scheme, tri-colour tails and near identical elements used in their construction.

The bonus with 40691 Mythical Pegasus is that you’re getting nearly double the piece count, plus the pedestal stand and mythical dragon and mythical bird alternate builds, whereas 31140 Magical Unicorn went with a seahorse and peacock, with just 145 pieces in the box.

There’s currently no official word on when 40691 Mythical Pegasus will be available as a GWP (rumours suggest sometime in August) or what the spending threshold is going to be to obtain the promotional build. As soon as we have full details on the upcoming LEGO Creator 3-in-1 set, we’ll let you know.
