LEGO Creator may not be part of the annual collection in 2025

While Creator was part of the LEGO Space 2024 range, it’s rumoured to be taking a rest with the Formula 1 collaboration next year.

The annual multi-theme LEGO collections started earlier this year with space and are confirmed to continue next year with Formula 1, but at least one theme is rumoured to be initially exempt the second time around.

At the start of 2024, 31152 Space Astronaut launched as part of the multi-theme LEGO Space campaign that several different sets have been a part of. LEGO Creator joined the Space collection right away this year but rumours suggest that it’s taking a back seat to other themes next year.

A list of LEGO Creator sets rumoured for early next year by Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat puts the spotlight on animals and nature, instead of technology and vehicles. LEGO Creator could tie into Formula 1 via a rebuildable Formula 1 car but it seems that this isn’t in the plans for the confirmed partnership.

The 2025 list remains a rumour at the time of writing and should be taken with caution. It’s surprising to see that Creator is reported to be exempt from the Formula 1 partnership next year so far, given its extensive history of vehicle creations. That’s not to say that it won’t join later in the year but 2024’s selection only featured one space set early on.

Thankfully, many other themes are rumoured to be included from City to, expectedly, Speed ChampionsDUPLO Formula 1 representation has been confirmed in the official announcement too.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
