LEGO DC rumoured to venture outside Batman in early 2025
LEGO DC’s January 2025 set selection is now rumoured, said to include a non-Batman model for the first time since 2020.
Exciting times may be ahead for LEGO DC enthusiasts as Instagram user brick_clicker reports that of three sets launching in January 2025, one will not be a Batman-centric build. This would be a surprising shift for the theme which has featured a Batman character in every set for the past four years.
Remember that this is only a rumour though and it should be taken with caution. Pair these rumours with those for LEGO Marvel and there are 10 superhero sets rumoured for January 2025, not 11 as was previously reported, though that may have been including a polybag. Here’s everything rumoured for LEGO DC in 2025 so far.
76301 4+ Batmobile
Price: $19.99 Pieces: 63 Release date: TBC January 2025
76301 4+ Batmobile could offer another 4+ depiction of the Batmobile following 76264 Batmobile Pursuit: Batman vs. The Joker in 2023. That would explain the 63 pieces for $19.99.
76302 Superman Mech vs Lex Luthor
Price: $14.99 Pieces: 120 Release date: TBC January 2025
The first non-Batman set since 2020’s 76157 Wonder Woman vs. Cheetah is rumoured to be 76302 Superman Mech vs Lex Luthor for $14.99. The name suggests that this will be another character mech for LEGO DC with a mech for Superman. This would be the reverse of 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex which featured a mech for Lex but not for Superman. Hopefully, Luthor at least has some kryptonite on his person.
76303 Dark Knight Tumbler
Price: $59.99 Pieces: 429 Release date: TBC January 2025
It’s back to Batman for 76303 Dark Knight Tumbler as another Dark Knight model is rumoured for early 2025. It may feel like yesterday that 76239 Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown was on shelves but it has been retired since 2022. Another version of the vehicle could offer enthusiasts who missed it a chance to grab the iconic Batmobile design, complete with an additional seven pieces compared to the 2021 build. That is said to come with a $20 price increase though.
