New LEGO DREAMZzz set is a must-have for Back to the Future minifigure

You might not be interested in LEGO DREAMZzz’s new sets, but one of them is a must-have to upgrade a Back to the Future minifigure.

The new LEGO DREAMZzz sets feature a new puffer jacket piece in a variety of colours including grey, blue and red. While we previously noted some uses for the new element, one of the best upgrades using it has been found.

Fourbrickstall on TikTok has picked up 71484 Cooper’s Robot Dinosaur C-Rex and its exclusive red puffer jacket, pairing it with Marty McFly from 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine and 71201 Back to the Future Level Pack.

There’s no doubt that the DREAMZzz piece makes for a significant upgrade to the original Back to the Future minifigure. Unfortunately, it won’t pair as well with the currently available Marty McFly minifigure from 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine since that’s an entirely different outfit.

Whatever your thoughts on the LEGO DREAMZzz August 2024 sets, there’s no denying that Back to the Future enthusiasts will almost certainly be tempted by this upgrade.

The red puffer jacket is currently exclusive to 71484 Cooper’s Robot Dinosaur C-Rex but hopefully, it will surface on Pick a Brick when the August 2024 parts are added to the service. That’s by no means guaranteed though. 71484 Cooper’s Robot Dinosaur C-Rex is available now for £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
