LEGO Fortnite is about to add more YouTubers to its roster of skins

An upcoming LEGO Fortnite update will welcome at least three more content creators to the game’s library of LEGO-fied skins.

Three YouTubers known for their Fortnite commentary will soon be playable as LEGO skins in LEGO Fortnite, in an update dropping for the game on Tuesday, January 23. British YouTuber Alistair Aiken, better known as Ali-A, Australian Lachlan Ross Power, and Twitch streamer Maria Lopez, who streams under the moniker Chica, are all believed to be coming to the game, sporting their commonly-seen Fortnite attire as digital minifigures.

“As a life-long LEGO fan, this is a surreal moment,” Ali-A wrote on X as he announced his design’s impending arrival.

You won’t need to do anything to access the content from the update, being one of many automatic patches that Epic Games releases to fine-tune its games. As well as adding fresh skins, LEGO Fortnite will also have various bugs fixed, including:

  • Mobile bugs: Players using a mobile device may sometimes find that they are unable to eat after pushing or throwing a crate
  • Spawn issues: When loading into someone else’s world, other players may spawn far away from the World owner
  • ‘Disabled’ message: Players were receiving some confusing messaging when attempting to join a LEGO world from the lobby while using multiple controllers or accounts on the same device
  • Villagers not working: Villagers assigned to work at the Metal Smelter do not progress and will not yield any results

To access LEGO skins, you can buy them using the in-game currency of V-Bucks. It’s worth noting that, if you already own the regular version of a skin, you won’t need to purchase anything extra and will simply see it appear in your Library automatically.
