LEGO Fortnite prompt launches on LEGO World Builder

Even LEGO World Builder can’t avoid LEGO Fortnite’s reach as a new prompt has started on the platform with cash prizes up for grabs.

Tongal has announced that its partnership with the LEGO Group – LEGO World Builder – is now inviting you to get involved with a LEGO Fortnite prompt, asking users to create a world and add in-game screenshots or original images to detail the story, characters and more.

Five different creators’ worlds will be chosen and turned into a series of YouTube videos with cash prizes of $3,500 per chosen world available for the winners. Examples of islands uploaded for the prompt so far include Axo’s Quest for the Legendary Cheese and The Last Cuddle Bears.

You’ve only got until June 19 to set up a LEGO World Builder profile and enter a world for this prompt. For some inspiration, there are several official LEGO Islands available to play now within LEGO Fortnite including some space-centric levels to play through that were recently added.

You may even decide to base your world on the story of the latest Fortnite Battle Royale season, which has some corresponding LEGO Fortnite items in the Battle Pass. Exactly when the YouTube videos featuring the winners would release has not been confirmed, though it’s still an exciting opportunity for budding creators.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
