LEGO Fortnite’s seven-day big build livestream starts now

Grab the popcorn as the week-long LEGO Fortnite livestream has begun, revealing what we’ll be watching over the next seven days.

As teased in the title, the LEGO Fortnite Big Build livestream is centred around creating a massive model but it’s not being made in LEGO Fortnite as you might have suspected. Instead, LEGO Certified Professional Caspar Bennedsen has been enlisted to make something massive over the next seven days.

So far, the livestream has focused solely on Bennedsen’s build which will slowly start to take shape over the next week. It’s too early to tell exactly what is being made but given that this livestream is confirmed to detail the next LEGO Fortnite update, we’d wager that the large model is going to be related to it.

It may be worthwhile to tune in occasionally as a giveaway has been confirmed, though the exact details of how to enter it have yet to be determined. We know that the prize is one of three LEGO Fortnite-decorated Xbox Series X consoles though.

Also dotted around the livestream setup are the four upcoming LEGO Fortnite sets as well as what appear to be prototypes of 77073 Battle Bus. We’ll be keeping an eye on the livestream to see exactly what is revealed but hopefully, any major revelations are highlighted on the LEGO Group’s social media channels too.

With the release of 71047 Dungeons & Dragons and many more sets tomorrow, we doubt anyone will have the time to watch all 168 hours of the livestream. At least you’ll have plenty of time to watch it while you build the new releases.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
