LEGO Friends 40694 River Camping Adventure GWP revealed

An upcoming LEGO Friends gift-with-purchase has been officially revealed in the shape of 40694 River Camping Adventure.

We first heard rumours of four potential LEGO GWPs said to be on their way at some point in 2024 earlier this summer. Of those, 40691 Mythical Pegasus and 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network have already appeared in the wild as free promotional sets and they’ll soon be joined by a third.

Thanks to an official listing, we now have the first details on a future LEGO Friends GWP in the shape of 40694 River Camping Adventure, a 182-piece set with a value of £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99.

The LEGO Friends model includes mini-dolls of Nova and Paisley, dressed in colourful camping outfits, as well as a fold-open brick-built tent, tree, flagpole that can be knocked down and a beaver figure.

In addition, 40694 River Camping Adventure also comes with a selection of various accessories for the girls to go on a bug hunt, toast marshmallows and collect water and mushrooms to make a stew.

One other neat touch that’s included in the LEGO Friends GWP is the option for builders to swap out the green leaves of the tree for orange foliage elements, in order to reflect the change from summer to autumn seasons.

There’s no word yet on when 40694 River Camping Adventure will be available as a GWP or what the spending threshold might be to obtain the set. 42172 McLaren P1 returned as a promotional freebie in some regions today, so it’s possible the LEGO Friends model might well be arriving once that current GWP has expired on September 17.
