LEGO Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow designer signing announced

LEGO Harry Potter designer George Gilliatt will be signing copies of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition at both LEGO House and the flagship Leicester Square LEGO Store.

While the latest Wizarding World direct-to-consumer set has yet to be officially unveiled by the LEGO Group, we’ve seen almost everything there is to see from the model already thanks to images posted by a third-party retailer. An event listing at LEGO.com has now also revealed that the set’s designer George Gilliatt will be signing copies of the model at the LEGO Store in Leicester Square on launch day.

The listing in turn confirms that 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition will debut on September 1 for LEGO Insiders and September 4 for everyone else. George will be at London’s flagship LEGO Store from 12pm-2pm BST, and shoppers will be able to purchase a maximum of two copies of the 2,405-piece set per person.

This isn’t the only place you’ll be able to get your copy of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition signed by its designer, though: in a since-deleted Instagram post, the LEGO House confirmed that George and fellow designers Santiago Carillo and Peter Kjærgaard will be attending a signing event in Billund on September 5 (from 3pm-5pm local time).

76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition is the third iteration of the Weasleys’ wizarding home and easily the biggest yet. As well as a fully-enclosed house that swings open to reveal a detailed interior, the model includes 10 minifigures: Harry, Ron and the entire Weasley clan, from Arthur, Molly, Ginny, Fred and George to Percy, Bill and Charlie (the latter of whom only appeared in the Harry Potter books).

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
