LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts 2024 details announced

This year’s LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts event is now confirmed to include three free gifts, make-and-take activities, signing events and an even bigger Burrow than you were expecting…

Marking the start of the new school year in the Wizarding World, the annual Back to Hogwarts event will be headlined in 2024 by the launch of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition on September 1 (for LEGO Insiders only, followed by a wider launch on September 4). Early adopters will be able to score up to three free gifts with the Weasleys’ home, but that’s not all that’s going on this year.

From in-store make-and-take events to opportunities to meet the designers behind 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition, here’s everything planned for Back to Hogwarts from LEGO Harry Potter in 2024.

LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts 2024 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition

If you haven’t seen it yet (and it’s been floating around for a little while now), 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition is the latest supersized set conjured up by the LEGO Harry Potter design team. It takes the Weasleys’ jaunty home up to 2,405 pieces, and includes 10 minifigures – among which are the entire Weasley family (even Charlie!).

This one retails for £219.99 / $259.99 / €259.99, which makes it one of the cheaper LEGO Harry Potter direct-to-consumer sets in recent memory, and can be yours from September 1 if you’re signed up to the LEGO Insiders program. You’ll have to wait until September 4 if not.

LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts 2024 free gifts

Three different freebies will be available from September 1 to 10 for LEGO Harry Potter fans. First up is a polybag, 30677 Draco in the Forbidden Forest, which is free with all Wizarding World orders above £35 / $40 / €40. Bump your order total up to £120 / $130 / €130 (again on LEGO Harry Potter sets) and you’ll also receive 40695 Borgin and Burkes: Floo Network, which is designed to accompany the Burrow.

Finally, all orders of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition between September 1 and 10 (or while stocks last) will receive 5009008 Collectible Weasley Clock. If you shoot for the Burrow, you’ll automatically qualify for all three gifts in one go.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
