LEGO Harry Potter Barnes & Noble build instructions revealed

A free LEGO Harry Potter Barnes & Noble model has had its instructions and parts list shared online, in case you were unable to find it yesterday.

On August 24, an event for Back to Hogwarts was held at Barnes & Noble stores around the US was held, giving away a free copy of LEGO Harry Potter 6541140 Platform 9¾. The event is now over and it may be hard to track down the set.

Thanks to Brian Manning on Facebook, the instructions and parts list for this model have now been shared online and only one of the elements will be harder to track down. The 103-piece model is constructed over 39 steps, displaying a cart being pushed through the magical wall leading to the iconic platform.

As well as the instructions in full, the parts list for 6541140 Platform 9¾ has been provided too, in case you want to pick up the elements online or see whether or not you already have them in your collection.

To our knowledge, the only element that might be tricky to track down is the printed 2×4 tile. Thankfully, it’s not exclusive to this set as it is also featured in the retired 76390 LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar. It’s inexpensive separately on BrickLink too.

Many comments on the LEGO Reddit have stated that they were unable to locate the complimentary build at their local Barnes & Noble store as it had run out of stock. It’s possible that your local may have some stock left but not entirely likely either. At least you have the option of tracking down the required elements online now.

There’s much more happening beyond Barnes & Noble for Back to Hogwarts and you can find out what’s to come next month by clicking here

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
