LEGO Harry Potter January 2025 set names rumoured

Rumoured set names for LEGO Harry Potter January 2025 sets have appeared online, suggesting that a few sub-themes are continuing next year.

Thanks to rumours reported by BrickTap via itavix_bricks on Instagram, seven (the most magical number, of course) LEGO Harry Potter sets have now got rumoured names. This number is in line with earlier rumours that the theme would get seven sets in January 2025, breaking from recent tradition. The last time we got a new LEGO Harry Potter set in January was 2021, so 2025 will mark four years since that’s happened.

The rumoured set names give us some idea of what to expect, especially as a few follow the same naming patterns as existing sets. For example, it’s expected that 76441 Hogwarts Castle: Dueling Club, 76442 Hogwarts Castle: Charms Class, and 76447 Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons will join the theme in January, following the same structure as 76431 Hogwarts Castle: Potions Class and 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall. Presumably, this trio of sets will expand on the growing collection of minifigure scale Hogwarts sets, fleshing out the latest iteration of the Wizarding School still further.

In a similar vein, 76444 Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops has a similar name to 76422 Diagon Alley: Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, suggesting it would be compatible. Interestingly, the more recently released 76439 Ollivanders & Madam Malkin’s Robes doesn’t have the ‘Diagon Alley’ prefix included but is designed to be displayed alongside the former. 76444 Diagon Alley: Wizarding Shops doesn’t name the shops included, so perhaps could feature less well-known shops, or perhaps the name could be subject to change.

The final three sets seem to be more standalone judging from the names alone: 76443 Hagrid & Harry’s Motorcycle, 76446 The Knight Bus, and 76453 Malfoy Manor. The first two will presumably be display-focused vehicles. We’ve already had the purple Knight Bus in LEGO form in the now-retired 75957 The Knight Bus but never a dedicated set to Hagrid’s flying bike.

76453 Malfoy Manor is a pretty niche build, since it only appears briefly in the later movies despite being a dramatic building. Without a price or piece count, it’s hard to say whether this will be a small interior model, perhaps centred around the table where Voldemort held his war meetings, or a larger build of the house itself. If it’s the latter, this could be a chance for what we think would be the very first LEGO peacock at minifigure scale, seeing as the Malfoys kept all-white peacocks on their land.

Of course, we can’t know for sure whether any of these set names are correct until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group, so take these rumours with a pinch of salt for now.
