Free LEGO Harry Potter Platform 9¾ build at Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble stores in the US will be hosting a free LEGO Harry Potter Platform 9¾ build event today to celebrate this year’s Back to Hogwarts.

Wizarding World fans will be heading Back to Hogwarts soon, when this year’s celebration of all things Harry Potter kicks off from September 1. The LEGO Group will be joining in with the annual magical festivities too, with the release of 76437 The Burrow Collectors’ Edition, three free LEGO Harry Potter GWPs, an in-store make and take, and designer signings.

In addition, US retailer Barnes & Noble will be getting into the Back to Hogwarts 2024 spirit a little earlier by offering visitors to some of its stores the chance to pick up a free LEGO Harry Potter Platform 9¾ build. The event will be taking place in a limited number of locations around the US today (August 24) at a variety of start times, so be sure to check in advance to find out where your nearest participating branch can be found.

Those who do turn up to the LEGO Harry Potter build event will be able to make their very own miniature version of the iconic Platform 9¾, complete with luggage trolley, suitcase, a section of platform and what may be a printed Hogwarts Express tile.

The trolley itself looks to be the same as the version included with 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition, although the rest of the build doesn’t appear to be in scale with the model’s own section of Platform 9¾.

The Barnes & Noble LEGO Harry Potter Platform 9¾ build will most likely be limited to one per person, while stocks last, so best to get there early to avoid disappointment.
