LEGO Horizon Adventures release date reportedly leaked by Sony

Sony has reportedly leaked the release date of LEGO Horizon Adventures, with official confirmation potentially right around the corner.

Guerrilla Games’ brick-built take on its Horizon franchise has long been stated to drop in the ‘holiday 2024’ season, but we’re still waiting on official confirmation of a specific release date. Redditor foreveryoung1108 has now shared a screenshot reportedly taken from the official PlayStation website revealing a release date of November 14, 2024.

Sony has seemingly flagged the banner on the homepage and removed it for now, as it’s no longer visible at PlayStation.com, but if the screenshot is to be believed we’re now less than three months away from getting our hands on LEGO Horizon Adventures. The family-friendly take on Aloy’s first outing will be available on PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch concurrently.

The title’s cross-platform release represents a rare instance of a PlayStation franchise heading to Nintendo Switch, in this case published not by Sony but by Canadian company Solutions 2 GO. Dropping a LEGO title on arguably the most family-friendly console around makes plenty of financial sense for all involved though, so it’s maybe not all that surprising.

It also means that official confirmation of LEGO Horizon Adventures’ release date could be imminent, as Nintendo is hosting a Direct Partner Showcase at 3pm BST today (August 27), showing off a bunch of new third-party and indie titles. It’s not difficult to imagine that a fresh trailer and release date announcement for Guerrilla Games’ LEGO game could be in the mix.

LEGO Horizon Adventures will be available later this year (potentially on November 14!) for PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
