LEGO Icons may be adding a second Dune-based build to its line-up, with rumours suggesting an early 2027 release for 11392 Sandworm.
Back in 2024, LEGO Icons launched 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter, a 1,369-piece 18+ set based on the flying vehicle seen in Denis Villeneuve’s first two Dune movies. Now comes word that a second model spinning out of what’s soon to be a completed film trilogy may be on the way early next year and potentially joining the theme.
BrickTap on Reddit has reported on the possible existence of 11392 Sandworm, a 1,837-piece brick-built recreation of Shai-Hulud, the gigantic worm-like creatures that burrow through the desert planet of Arrakis and which are also responsible for creating the valuable spice, melange.

The latest 2027 rumour goes on to state that 11392 Sandworm may see the light of day on January 1, priced at $140, which could make the LEGO release a much better price-per-piece offering than 10327 Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter, which launched for $164.99.
Beyond that initial information, there are no other details regarding 11392 Sandworm, but a new Paul Atreides minifigure in full Fremen gear would certainly be appreciated by fans.

For now, we’ll have to tread carefully over the surface of this latest LEGO Icons rumour and wait to see if 11392 Sandworm does indeed emerge in 2027. In the meantime, Dune: Part Three will be hitting big screens around the world on December 18, 2026.
