LEGO Ideas Bluey project tries for third attempt at a set
A LEGO Ideas Bluey build has once more reached 10,000 supporters, showing the demand for the updated house and figures for the third time.
Bluey isn’t just popular on streaming services and TV, but it’s proven once again to be a popular project on LEGO Ideas as Monkey Scout‘s third attempt at a Bluey set has reached 10,000 supporters. You can take a look at the first Bluey project from them by clicking here.
This time, they’ve dropped the Heeler family’s car entirely, using 2,395 pieces overall which is 558 fewer than the original build. The submission pitches eight brick-built figures that replicate the style of the animated series instead of forcing minifigures into the odd proportions of the characters.
You can unfold the detailed home and separate the upper floor from the ground floor and the rooms include the entry room, Bluey and Bingo’s bedroom, the playroom, and the kitchen. Outside, there’s a garden at the front and back of the house as well as a porch.
The likes of 21330 Home Alone and the upcoming Twilight model prove that detailed homes have a place in LEGO Ideas but so far, Bluey has had no luck at the LEGO Ideas review stage. Whether this is a licensing issue or simply preference towards other projects is unknown.
Either way, it has another chance at getting a LEGO Ideas set thanks to Monkey Scout and the 10,000 supporters who have shown their support for the project. Now, the Bluey build has a spot in the
