LEGO Marvel 76286 The Milano minifigures rumoured
More details for the rumoured LEGO Marvel 76286 The Milano have surfaced online, including a list of minifigures and a massive piece count.
Instagram user fateful_lego, via exabrickslegogo_ reports that the minifigures featured in the rumoured 76286 The Milano could include the entire cast of the original movie, possibly bringing new versions of minifigures last seen 10 years ago.
At 2,090 pieces, 76286 The Milano was rumoured earlier this year to be coming for the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Studios movie by 1414falconfan and now it’s believed that the set could include Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Drax and Rocket as minifigures. This would be the first time that the entire core team is included in a single set. That piece count would also make it the biggest Guardians of the Galaxy model ever released.
It seems likely that they would be based on their appearances in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie and designs for such minifigures exist already. Rocket was even re-introduced in his outfit earlier this year in 76278 Rocket’s Warbird vs. Ronan. Groot would be the odd one out as his original appearance in the LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy sets was as a brick-built character and his design has changed drastically since then.
A new take on Groot as a minifigure could opt for the same elements used for the character in 76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters but with the long legs used for the Avatar minifigures to best represent his height compared to the rest of the team.
That’s only speculation on our part, but it would work well for a new and accurate minifigure. Remember to take all rumoured information with caution until the LEGO Group announces anything official for the future of LEGO Marvel.
