LEGO NINJAGO 2025 set names and more details rumoured

Names, prices and piece counts have surfaced for the rumoured LEGO NINJAGO January 2025 selection, reporting storms, a village and more.

Instagram user fateful_lego reports that the January 2025 wave of LEGO NINJAGO will consist of 11 sets and has shared rumoured names and other details for these builds. You can take a look at the full selection in the updated table at the bottom of this report but there are a few highlights to go over.

New Spinjitzu models are rumoured for next year in the form of 71823 Kai’s Dragon Spinjitzu and 71824 Sora’s Dragon Spinjitzu but it’s also reported that there will be 71826 Dragon Spinjitzu Double Pack in January too. Whether this will be a pack featuring the two other models or two other Dragon Spinjitzu character models is not clear, though double packs aren’t usually part of the standard set numbering for most themes.

71834 Zane’s Ultra Combo Mech is an interesting rumoured set too as NINJAGO has covered a combination mech before – 71765 Ninja Ultra Combo Mech. Basing one specifically on Zane rather than a larger team of ninjas is an interesting choice and it could be that it’s operated by Zane and Pixal, the latter of which has yet to return in Dragons Rising.

71841 Dragonian Storm Village is one of the most perplexing rumoured sets in the reported January 2025 list with 305 elements for $39.99. Its piece count reminds us of LEGO DREAMZzz’s 40657 Dream Village at 434 pieces but its price is more akin to 71747 The Keepers’ Village which is £44.99 / $49.99 / €49.99.

It’s an interesting mix of models but they are only rumours at the time of writing and should be taken with apt caution in case anything turns out to be false. Here’s a look at what’s rumoured for the theme next year after an earlier report.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
