New LEGO Pick a Brick pieces available now: dragon wings, capes, panels and more

The latest selection of new LEGO elements is starting to appear on Pick a Brick, including Dungeons & Dragons’ dragon wings and a cape that is hopefully priced in error…

An assortment of new pieces from the April 2024 sets are currently making their way to Pick a Brick, including plenty of elements from 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale just in time for 71047 Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures to hit shelves in September. Among those are the large dragon’s fabric wings, which will set you back a cool £19.79 each in the UK.

That same price tag has also been applied to a regular dark blue cape and the iridescent cape, which is likely just a pricing error, because that’s obviously not a normal price for those elements. It wouldn’t be the first Pick a Brick pricing error in recent memory – the dark grey goat was initially priced too low, which the LEGO Group was quick to rectify. Hopefully it has its finger on the pulse the other way around, too.

Other new highlights include the 1×1 plate with tooth and 1×1 quarter-sphere in sand blue, multiple Technic panels in orange and lime green, and a small selection of hats and hairpieces (although not all of those are in stock at the moment). Head over to Pick a Brick and select ‘Sort by: Newest’ and ‘Show out of stock’ to see all the new pieces as they’re added.

A total of 97 new LEGO elements are due to arrive on Pick a Brick over the course of today, although history suggests it may take a couple of days for the full assortment to appear as expected, and a little bit more time still for them to be in stock and available to buy. You can download the full list of pieces in this round of additions below.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

I’m guessing that the dragon wings and capes are the same price because they probably come in a set with all of them for that price.

Buy any one of these and you’ll get all four.

That’s how fabric items seem to work, Lego package all the fabric items from a set. That’s how it works for the lion knights castle cape and flags, and how it works for the Disney castle capes and the capes multipack.

It’s a poor customer experience but I guess they have a niche audience.
