LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog rumoured to speed into 2024

LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog is rumoured to speed into 2024 with new sets, as well as another pair of models this year.

Brick_clicker‘s latest batch of rumours includes word of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog continuing into 2024, despite the theme not yet releasing. It’s currently scheduled for launch on August 1.

The rumour is that LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog’s 2024 selection will consist of more sets as well as further BrickHeadz. When the theme was first rumoured, a pair of BrickHeadz were reported, and now it’s said that these will be 40627 Sonic with 139 pieces and 40628 Tails with 131 bricks for $9.99 each.

However, it’s believed that these won’t be arriving on August 1 alongside the rest of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog, but saved for September 1 instead.

These could join other video games BrickHeadz, which so far only include Minecraft characters and creatures.

LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog is going big later this year with five full models and an expansion pack for Sonic Superstars. However, the rumoured BrickHeadz and the theme continuing in 2024 have yet to be confirmed and should be taken with caution until announced otherwise.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
