Don’t miss these LEGO Space minifigures for 71047 Dungeons & Dragons

LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26 Space is retiring soon, and you won’t want to miss two minifigures ahead of 71047 Dungeons & Dragons

While space and fantasy don’t always mix, they frequently do in Dungeons & Dragons, and it just so happens that there’s still time to finish collecting 71046 Series 26 Space ahead of 71047 Dungeons & Dragons

The space series is scheduled to retire on August 31 – the day before 71047 Dungeons & Dragons is released – leaving you with just under three weeks to pick up Orion and the Alien Beetlezoid. These two minifigures should pair well enough with 71047 Dungeons & Dragons to give you an excuse to pick them or another pair of them up before their retirement date arrives.

Orion’s armour printing and transparent pieces could work for a Circle of Stars druid or a Genasi embracing their elemental abilities, and their accessories will mix well with the upcoming LEGO Dungeons & Dragons minifigures too.

The Alien Beetlezoid may seem to be a more unusual pick but thanks to the Spelljammer setting, the creature should work as a playable Thri-kreen character. The Thri-kreen are insectoid humanoids with legs and heads that loosely resemble that of the Alien Beetlezoid. They also feature four arms, so you may have to get creative with neck accessories to be as accurate as possible.

Still, it’s worth considering these two minifigures in 71046 Series 26 Space before the cosmic series retires at the end of August, making way for 71047 Dungeons & Dragons. You can find them easily using the Brick Search app’s minifigure scanner and get proficient with the tool ahead of the fantasy-centric minifigure series’ launch next month too.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
