Free LEGO Speed Champions McLaren F1 Car at Leicester Square store

Visitors to the LEGO Store Leicester Square over the next two days can pick up a 30683 McLaren Formula 1 Car polybag for free.

While this year’s British Grand Prix may now have come to an end, LEGO racing fans still have plenty to look forward to. In addition to new LEGO Speed Champions and Technic sets speeding into view on August 1, the LEGO Store Leicester Square also has a championship couple of days ahead.

For starters, visitors to the London location will be able to pick up a free 30683 McLaren Formula 1 Car polybag on July 26 and July 27 from 10am to 12pm. A limited quantity of the LEGO Speed Champions set will be available on each day, with one build per person on a first come first serve basis (while stocks last).

The giveaway is a repeat of a similar event at LEGO Stores in the UK and Europe last month, but this time the event will be limited to the Leicester Square branch.

30683 McLaren Formula 1 Car is a 58-piece version of the iconic vehicle, one that also represents a scaled down version of 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car.

In addition, those in attendance will also be able to check out a life-size McLaren MP4/4 driving up right outside the store on both days. Comprised of 400,000 elements, the huge model took a team of builders more than 700 combined hours to construct and was most recently seen at Silverstone.

The 1:1 scale replica of 10330 McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna was designed and assembled as part of a year-long celebration of the legendary racing driver’s 30-year legacy in 2024.

10330 McLaren MP4/4 & Ayrton Senna is still available for purchase, with the LEGO Icons set priced at £69.99 / €79.99 / $79.99.
