Every LEGO Speed Champions set retiring in 2024 and beyond – January update
As more LEGO Speed Champions sets race into view, here’s how long you’ve got to pick up the current crop of roadsters before they retire for good.
At least three new LEGO Speed Champions sets are already confirmed to be joining the starting grid in March, with a fourth potentially in the works for the same time – before another three follow in June (at least according to rumours). But if you’re still playing catch-up on the cars already available at LEGO.com, best to bump those to the top of your shopping list.
That’s because every single one of the LEGO Speed Champions sets available to buy right now is scheduled to retire by the end of 2024. In the mix are the remaining 2022 sets – such as 76908 Lamborghini Countach and and 76907 Lotus Evija – alongside the entire 2023 slate, including 76917 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and 76918 McLaren Solus GT & McLaren F1 LM.
The three new 2024 sets confirmed so far will all hang around into 2025, meanwhile, so you’ve got plenty of time to pick those up in due course. But with whispers of two new Formula 1 cars joining the range this year, it would be wise to prioritise 76909 Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance & Mercedes-AMG Project One for the most complete eight-wide starting grid possible.
