LEGO Star Wars 75406 rumoured for 2025, but not for January

A new LEGO Star Wars rumour has been partially disputed by another source, suggesting that we might know everything for January.

Instagram user fateful_lego has responded to a now-deleted LEGO Star Wars rumour from the less-reliable thebrickreporter. The latter user claimed that a LEGO Star Wars set under the number 75406 is coming in January 2025 as part of the midi-scale Starship Collection but this source is usually not the most reliable.

It was also reported that it could be a LEGO-Store-exclusive set, which wouldn’t be unusual for LEGO Star Wars. The more reliable fateful_lego acknowledged the set number in their recent Instagram story (which may no longer be live when you read this) but disputed the claims that it would be released in January.

Instead, they posited that we already know of every rumoured LEGO Star Wars set for January, but they don’t directly dispute the reported set number itself. They also don’t acknowledge the rumour that it’s a midi-scale set, so take that with extra caution.

While the existence of 75406 appears to be rumoured via the more reliable source, we’d take any other details with an extra pinch of salt for now as thebrickreporter has not proven to be a reliable source in the past.

For now, it would be wise to only consider fateful_lego’s input, which suggests that we know everything to expect from LEGO Star Wars early next year. You should still take all unconfirmed LEGO rumours with caution no matter what.

It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
