New LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia confirmed for 2025

2025 will see a new LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia hit shelves, promising new minifigures from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Bad Batch.

DK Books has been responsible for character encyclopedias across Star Wars, Marvel, and Harry Potter and 2025 will mark the next version of the LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia, due for release on April 1, 2025. There’s already an Amazon listing for the book, although pre-orders are not yet open.

There’s also no cover yet revealed for the 2025 encyclopedia, so the only real details we have to go on lie in the product description. It reads: “DK’s LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia Updated Edition is packed with all the latest and new LEGO Star Wars minifigures! Meet amazing minifigures from all the Star Wars movies and TV shows, including new minifigures from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Bad Batch, as well as new variants of classic characters and fan favourites from the Skywalker Saga.”

Some of the named characters to be included are Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2, Rey, Grogu, Din Djarin, and Ahsoka Tano, none of whom are new to the book in its earlier versions. However, there’s also the promise of an exclusive minifigure coming with the book, as with previous editions. The latest edition, which released in 2020, featured an exclusive Darth Maul minifigure, for example.
