LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy cast confirmed
The full cast for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy has been confirmed, including many actors from the movies and some new faces.
D23 has begun and to kick things off ahead of the major entertainment panel this evening, more details have been confirmed for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy alongside a new trailer and posters. As part of the new announcements, the casting for the four-episode special event has been confirmed and you’ll likely recognise more than a few names.
Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo stars as Sig, Tony Revolori is Dev, Marsai Martin is Yesi, Bobby Moynihan is Jedi Bob, Smiling Friends’ Michael Cusack is Servo (SR-V0), Ahmed Best is Darth Jar Jar and Mark Hamill is back as an alternate version of Luke Skywalker.
Other members of the cast have also been confirmed from The Skywalker Saga, playing various characters in the four episodes. These are Naomi Ackie, Anthony Daniels, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams. In the trailer and the sets, we can see a dark side version of Rose Tico, C-3PO but the casting seemingly confirms that both Jannah and Lando will be back in Rebuild the Galaxy too.
The rest of the cast includes Dee Bradley Baker, TC Carson, Trevor Devall, Jake Green, Jennifer Hale, Phil Lamarr, Ross Marquand, Piotr Michael, Kevin Michael Richardson, Helen Sadler, Matt Sloan, Matthew Wood, Sam Witwer, and Shelby Young.
It’s a lengthy list of actors and stars as well as newcomers to the Star Wars galaxy, ideal for celebrating 25 years of LEGO Star Wars as this special event is designed to do.
There’s still a while to wait until the four-episode event is streaming on September 13 but in the meantime, its three new sets are available now including the long-awaited return of Jedi Bob. D23 will certainly have more announcements over the weekend for Star Wars, Marvel and more and there’s a lot to look forward to in the days ahead.
