LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy clips revealed

As LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy nears, two clips from the special event have revealed more alternate versions of familiar faces.

The first clips from LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy’s four episodes have been uploaded online, offering a taste of what is to come later this week. The second clip even includes more alternate appearances of familiar characters.

The first of these clips was shared last week, focusing only on characters we knew of in the special event, all of which are represented as minifigures across 75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter, 75389 The Dark Falcon, 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up.

Still, it further showcases the impressive animation, paying tribute to stop-motion as The LEGO Movie did. Andor enthusiasts will be pleased to see the ship from 75338 Ambush on Ferrix make a cameo too.

The second clip was uploaded to YouTube earlier today and it’s arguably the more exciting of the two. The Jedi in this new take on a galaxy far, far away is revealed to consist of Palpatine, Count Dooku and Cad Bane. Darth Maul also makes an appearance wearing Lando’s clothing from 75212 Kessel Run Millennium Falcon.

New versions of Star Destroyers are featured in the clip as well, which are not included in any of the three LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy sets. They would be an interesting option for a larger model, using 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer as a base. Add it to the list of Star Destroyer variants we need alongside Thrawn’s Chimaera from Ahsoka.

These clips offer a preview of the four-episode special event that starts streaming on Disney+ later this week, September 13. You can pick up 75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter, 75389 The Dark Falcon, 75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up now online and in stores.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
