LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy set could have had different Darths
A new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy has revealed that one of its new sets could have had a much different selection of minifigures.
Yesterday at D23, a new trailer and posters for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy were revealed. Of the many moments in the trailer, one caught our eye following the recent release of 75389 The Dark Falcon.
In 75389 The Dark Falcon, we have physical minifigures of Darth Jar Jar, Darth Rey and Darth Dev, the latter of which is a new character. The new trailer has revealed that these could have an entirely different array of Darth minifigures though.
Part of the new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy has revealed several Darth minifigures, at least one of which could have been included in 75389 The Dark Falcon as their piece is still in production.
From left to right, we appear to have Darth Kit Fisto, Darth Nubs from Young Jedi Adventures, Darth Jyn Erso, Darth Rose Tico and a Darth Ithorian character. The latter might be Noga-ta from 2014’s 75051 Jedi Scout Fighter, though that’s only a prediction. It’s easier to identify the other characters.
Nubs is currently exclusive – in his standard form – to 75384 The Crimson Firehawk, one of two Young Jedi Adventures sets. A Darth Nubs minifigure could have been an interesting twist on the character from the child-friendly series, but at least a custom minifigure of this character is possible with Darth Jar Jar.
While Darth Jar Jar, Rey and Dev are welcome additions to 75389 The Dark Falcon, as mentioned in our review, we now know that we could have had a much different selection of Darths in the new LEGO Star Wars set. 75389 The Dark Falcon is available now alongside two other LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy sets.
