LEGO Star Wars: Skeleton Crew minifigure will be useful for Marvel and more

There’s a new LEGO Star Wars Skeleton Crew set coming soon with a minifigure that will find plenty of use outside the theme.

75374 Onyx Cinder has been revealed by online retailers, confirming the names and designs of five new minifigures. While not much is known about the Star Wars series that the set is based on, actor Jude Law is confirmed to feature as one of the main characters.

The tallest of the five minifigures in 75374 Onyx Cinder appears to be his character and this is Law’s first minifigure. While he is featured in the most recent live-action Peter Pan movie as Captain Hook, that film’s only set is 43220 Peter Pan & Wendy’s Storybook Adventure. The Disney set features micro-dolls of the cast – not the same as minifigures.

Law also had a part in Captain Marvel which received a few sets, but none of them featured Yon-Rogg. Similarly, he played Dumbledore in the second Fantastic Beasts movie but only the first received any sets.

Now, the actor finally has a minifigure and the face of his Star Wars minifigure should be useful for both the Marvel character and a young Dumbledore.

For Yon-Rogg, you could combine the head and hair from 75374 Onyx Cinder with Captain Marvel’s teal uniform in 30453 Captain Marvel and Nick Fury. A younger Dumbledore minifigure will be easier as any formal clothing should do the trick.

The other minifigures in 75374 Onyx Cinder are similarly interesting including another Ortolan similar to Max Rebo and some other unique prints across the cast.

75374 Onyx Cinder launches on August 1, and you find out more about the set by clicking here. The LEGO Star Wars should hopefully be officially revealed soon as August nears.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
