LEGO Technic and Porsche line up summer program of free events for all ages

A newly-revealed line-up of summer events between the LEGO Group and Porsche offers petrolheads plenty of options in the coming weeks.

LEGO Technic 42176 Porsche GT4 e-Performance Race Car will launch on August 1 and, to celebrate its launch, the LEGO Group and Porsche are teaming up for a summer program of events. Between July 30 and August 18, there are various free activities to get stuck into at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, ranging from child-friendly quizzes and LEGO play tables to a racetrack to test out the upcoming LEGO Technic set.

There’s also an exclusive LEGO brick that’s only available from the museum, likely similar to the unique pieces handed out at new LEGO Stores. What’s more, you can see various LEGO Porsche-themed models to view (but not buy) that won’t be available to see anywhere else.

On August 6 at 6.30 pm, Porsche GT4 e-developer Björn Förster, LEGO designers Ann Karring and Aurelien Rouffiange, and racing driver Jörg Bergmeister will be hosting an event to discuss the design of 42176 Porsche GT4 e-Performance Race Car, including a driving demonstration on a small racetrack in the Porsche Museum. Tickets start from €29 per person.
