LEGO Winter Village 10325 Alpine Lodge officially revealed
The LEGO Group has unveiled this year’s addition to the Winter Village Collection in 10325 Alpine Lodge, which moves away from the city and into the mountains for a cosy festive build.
With only three more pieces than last year’s 10308 Holiday Main Street for the same price, 10325 Alpine Lodge includes a two-storey lodge (not dissimilar in architecture and style to the microscale 40594 Houses of the World 3 gift-with-purchase), a snowmobile with a trailer and Christmas tree, a frozen pond with a pier, a snowman, snow-covered trees and even an outhouse.
The lodge – named Two Pines Inn – looks to make efficient use of its relatively shallow interior, packing in a fireplace with armchairs, a bar serving hot drinks, space to place and decorate the Christmas tree and multiple beds (including one tucked away in the attic). There’s also a light brick, which illuminates both the main fireplace on the ground floor and the smaller fireplace in the child’s bedroom. Right next to his bed. Seems safe.
The latest Winter Village model comes with five minifigures in total, including two lodge employees and three guests, which the press release describes specifically as ‘one child with their parent, and the other on their own’. So much for a festive family gathering. But hey, it’s LEGO: imbue 10325 Alpine Lodge with whatever narrative you choose, then slot it into the rest of your Winter Village Collection.
10325 Alpine Lodge launches on October 1 for LEGO Insiders, and October 4 for everyone else, for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. It joins 2021’s 10293 Santa’s Visit and 2022’s 10308 Holiday Main Street on shelves, although the former won’t be around for long: it’s retiring in 2023, so make sure to prioritise that one first if you’re playing catch-up on the Winter Village sets.

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
