LEGOLAND teases ‘world’s first’ duelling rollercoaster
LEGOLAND Windsor has teased the incoming arrival of ‘the world’s first LEGO duelling rollercoaster’, coming soon to the park.
LEGOLAND Windsor is already home to 55 rides, shows and attractions but will soon welcome one more, coming in the spring of 2024. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the park teased an upcoming ride that will seemingly involve some sort of competition between two teams that will ride the rollercoaster simultaneously.
As ‘the world’s first LEGO duelling rollercoaster’, the Minifigure Speedway will have two tracks, much like Universal’s Dragon Challenge or Cedar Point’s Gemini. Both tracks will have cars riding on them at the same time and, based on what LEGOLAND Windsor has teased, Team Legends and Team Allstars will be racing their way through the ride.
What factors will decide the race remains to be seen, with only a teaser animation shared at the moment. However, with a promised arrival in 2024, we’d likely expect more news on the details of the new ride in the coming months.
