Closer look at LEGO Fortnite minifigure debuted early at Gamescom
One LEGO Fortnite minifigure debuted early at Gamescom, with some attendees getting to take home one of their own ahead of its October release.
Gamescom attendees could pick up a flyer from the LEGO Store in Cologne that can then be exchanged for a LEGO Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader minifigure at the gaming convention. Promobricks did just that and has offered us our first hands-on look at the Cuddle Team Leader minifigure.
The photos reveal that, instead of a single moulded headpiece like the LEGO Animal Crossing minifigures, Cuddle Team Leader’s head is made up of a plain white minifigure head with a pink teddy bear accessory on top. Promobricks does specifically note that other LEGO Fortnite minifigures do have face printing, even if Cuddle Team Leader is left blank under the bear head.
There doesn’t seem to be any Gamescom exclusive element to the minifigure, appearing to be simply an early release of one of the nine minifigures set to release in LEGO Fortnite 77073 Battle Bus.
The Cuddle Team Leader minifigure will officially make its debut on October 1 in the minifigure-heavy 77073 Battle Bus, retailing for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. You can pre-order the set now ahead of its release.
