Marvel Studios’ Loki Season 2 is releasing early

The second season of Marvel Studios’ Loki is releasing earlier than expected, following a schedule recently debuted for Star Wars: Ahsoka.

Loki Season 2’s release date has been changed, moving the start of the series up by a day and with a new time that follows a trend most recently introduced for Ahsoka. Loki is still releasing in the second half of the week, unlike Ahsoka and other Disney+ Marvel and Star Wars series and has had its release date moved from October 6 to October 5 at 6pm PT, or 2am BST.

That’s a gap of over two years since the release of Loki Season 1 on June 9, 2021, which has a pair of minifigures based on it as part of the retired 71031 Marvel Studios. Though a second LEGO Marvel Collectible Minifigures Series is available now in the form of 71039 Marvel Series 2, no new minifigures based on Loki are included.

Loki Season 2’s release date was originally announced earlier this year and this was scheduled to be followed by the entirety of Echo on November 29. However, that series has now been delayed to January 2024.

A trailer and poster for the second season of Loki is available to watch ahead of its start. However, there are less than three weeks until its debut should you wish to avoid spoilers.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
