Who are the minifigures in LEGO Fortnite 77073 Battle Bus?

LEGO Fortnite 77073 Battle Bus is the only Fortnite set to include minifigures and the odd cast of characters may leave some fans confused, so here’s a deep dive into each and every one.

Of the four recently revealed LEGO Fortnite sets, 77073 Battle Bus could be the highlight of the wave for many fans. This is thanks in no small part to its impressive array of exclusive minifigures based on key moments across the game’s seven-year history (since the start of Battle Royale).

77073 Battle Bus’s minifigures include Battalion Brawler, Adventure Peely, Brite Bomber, Cuddle Team Leader, Cube Assassin, Trespasser Elite, Drift, Meowscles and Raven but to those less experienced with Fortnite, those names won’t mean anything.

Here’s a comprehensive guide to who’s who in LEGO Fortnite 77073 Battle Bus, which is available to pre-order now for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 ahead of its launch on October 1.

Battalion Brawler

Battalion Brawler is one of the default outfits introduced in the third chapter of Fortnite – when the seasons were reset for the second time. As a variant of an outfit that all players have likely seen at least once, he’s a fitting inclusion in 77073 Battle Bus. Battalion Brawler is also a variant (or snapshot) of Jonesy, a major character in the Fortnite story who is one of the few to be voiced.

Adventure Peely

Adventure Peely is an outfit tied heavily to LEGO Fortnite as an alternate take on the popular Peely character that debuted with the launch of the LEGO Fortnite mode in Chapter 5: Season 1. Peely is a cross between a snapshot of Jonesy and a banana in the Fortnite story when the former wandered into a rift holding the latter.

Brite Bomber

Brite Bomber is a prominent character in the promotion of LEGO Fortnite and she was even featured in the first trailer for the mode. She’s also one of the oldest outfits in 77073 Battle Bus’s minifigures, introduced in Chapter 1: Season 2. This character is one of a few that has been picked to be guides for first-time LEGO Fortnite players.

Cuddle Team Leader

Also debuting in Chapter 1: Season 2 is Cuddle Team Leader. This pink-suited character makes up one of the most colourful and unique minifigures in 77073 Battle Bus and like Brite Bomber, she’s one of the first characters players can meet in LEGO Fortnite as she helps guide them through the tutorial and learn the basics of the survival-crafting mode.

Cube Assassin

Cube Assassin is a less common outfit in Fortnite as it was only available to members of the Fortnite Crew subscription service in December 2021. This character has been featured as a boss that players could face in Chapter 2: Season 8 with symbols across their clothing matching Fortnite’s mysterious and dangerous cubes of The Last Reality empire, hence the name.

Trespasser Elite

Trespasser Elite is an outfit from Chapter 2: Season 7 with a robotic appearance that has been replicated as a LEGO minifigure with implied shaping near the bottom of the torso’s design. They feature the same symbols as the Cube Assassin, hinting at an affiliation with The Last Reality.

Drift

Drift is undoubtedly the most interesting minifigure in 77073 Battle Bus as he’s not technically a character, but a real person from our world in the Fortnite story. In 2018, a burger – as depicted in 77070 Durrr Burger – was spotted in California after rifting from Fortnite to Earth. The story of Chapter 1: Season 5 saw a graffiti artist tagging the prop before it was transported along with Drift to the world of Fortnite. In-game, this depiction of Drift is exclusive to the Chapter 1: Season 5 Battle Pass.

Meowscles

Meowscles is an exclusive outfit from the Chapter 2: Season 2 Battle Pass and was a secret agent of SHADOW before the organisation fell, leaving Meowscles to seek new employment and stick around in the ongoing Fortnite story as more of his family were eventually introduced.

Raven

Raven is from the third season of the first chapter of Fortnite with no notable specific lore or story to tell. Instead, we’ll focus on how the design’s cloaked hood and mysterious, dark styles have been captured in 77073 Battle Bus, down to some impressive printing on the legs.
