More details on rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2025 Jango Fett and Chopper sets
More rumoured details have surfaced on the LEGO Star Wars May 2025 line-up, with at least five sets believed to be on the way for May the 4th.
Initial word on at least three more LEGO Star Wars 2025 sets dropped last week, pointing to a buildable Chopper from Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: Ahsoka, the return of the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection with Jango Fett, and a buildable Star Wars logo. Instagram users lego_minecraft_goat and fateful_lego have now published more information on those sets – and other May 2025 releases – in their stories.
The full line-up of May 2025 sets is said to include 75399, an unknown model with an $80 price tag; 75407 Star Wars Logo for $80; 75408 Jango Fett Helmet for $80; and 75416 Buildable Chopper for $100. Clay_Bricks also adds that another UCS set will drop with a price tag somewhere between $200 and $250, but you don’t need a crystal ball to guess that much: a May the 4th UCS set is pretty much a given at this point.
There are a couple of key takeaways to note from this line-up. First is that 2025 is looking decidedly light on LEGO Star Wars playsets, with the January wave also said to encompass two midi-scale ships and a buildable Grogu with hover pram. To date, our only minifigure-scale LEGO Star Wars sets for the first half of 2025 are apparently a 4+ Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter, Ahsoka’s Jedi Interceptor and an ARC-170.
The second is that 75408 Jango Fett Helmet seems exorbitantly expensive given it will presumably mostly be a recolour of 75277 Boba Fett Helmet, a 625-piece set that debuted in 2020 for only $59.99. A 33% price hike in five years would be disappointing, although perhaps not too surprising with one eye on the current state of LEGO Star Wars.
