More images for LEGO Animal Crossing and Super Mario appear online
A third-party retailer has published more images of upcoming LEGO Animal Crossing and Super Mario, offering fresh looks at the newly revealed sets.
Gamescom has brought us reveals of not one but two new waves, one for LEGO Animal Crossing and one for LEGO Super Mario. Both will be coming in January 2025, meaning the reveals are pretty early and that seems to have translated into limited imagery at this stage. It’s similar to the original reveal of the very first LEGO Animal Crossing sets but we do have some more images to dig into now, thanks to German retailer Lucky Bricks.
LEGO Animal Crossing
For LEGO Animal Crossing, the digital renders offer a clearer look at the colours of the sets – an important factor for the vibrant models. In particular, Sasha in these images looks closer to her OG minty colour, with the photos from the press release coming off a little washed out. The green roof in 77055 Able Sisters Clothing Shop also pops that much more and 77054 Leif’s Caravan & Garden Shop comes across much clearer here.

LEGO Mario Kart
The digital renders for the LEGO Mario Kart sets also show off how the weapons can be ‘used’ with shells flying and wheels getting switched out left, right, and centre. The interactivity that we’ve only speculated about here seems to be confirmed thanks to these images, as well as offering closer looks at the new buildable figures.
