Most expensive LEGO Fortnite Kit temporarily removed from shop

The latest and most expensive LEGO Fortnite Kit has been temporarily removed from the in-game item shop hours after its launch.

After releasing earlier today, the Lion Knight’s Castle LEGO Fortnite Kit bundle has been taken off the shop in Fortnite and one of its items disabled in-game. As revealed by the LEGO Fortnite Status X account, this is due to a bug involving the torch decor items that prevents you from interacting with other items in-game.

While this is being fixed, you will not be able to buy the Lion Knights’ Castle Bundle in the Fornite shop but only the affected decor items have been disabled. Any other builds in the optional purchase should still work.

At 2,500 V-Bucks, the bundle is by far the most expensive LEGO Fortnite Kit bundle yet, following two others of various price points earlier this week. There has been a mixed response to the debut of LEGO Fortnite Kits, though you shouldn’t expect the price to change when it returns to the shop. The LEGO Fortnite Kit is named after 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle and somewhat resembles the set.

It’s not the only optional purchase currently available for LEGO Fortnite as a new starter pack is now available, as well as some freebies for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
