This retired LEGO set would be perfect to pair with D&D Collectible Minifigures

The LEGO D&D Collectible Minifigures is near and there’s one perfect set to display with them but another ideal and more budget-friendly option.

12 collectable characters inspired by the world of Dungeons & Dragons are hitting shelves in September and the best set to pair them with is, unfortunately for some, quite expensive.

You might not have the space or the budget for the giant LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set that was released earlier this year, but thankfully that’s not your only option for an ideal display for these new Collectible Minifigures. Another just happens to be a LEGO Ideas set too.

For those in the US, the retired 21325 Medieval Blacksmith is still available at Barnes & Noble and there aren’t many better picks for displaying the Dungeons & Dragons minifigures, without spending over $200.

While you may be concerned about the scale of 21325 Medieval Blacksmith compared to other medieval and fantasy creations, rest assured that it’s a great display piece for minifigires and there’s plenty of space to showcase them without crowding the set.

Outside, there’s room by the tree for the Aarakocra Ranger to practice their archery, a forge for the Dwarf Barbarian to start smithing, a garden at the side for the Halfling Druid to attune with nature and more.

Inside, the three rooms include the blacksmith shop for adventurers to browse the latest stock, a kitchen for food-hungry travellers and a combined bedroom and study for minifigures to rest in. There’s no reason why the set’s official minifigure selection can’t stick around in 21325 Medieval Blacksmith alongside the D&D minifigures too.

Those in the US can head to Barnes & Noble now to score the retired LEGO Ideas while stocks last and there’s no guarantee that it will be available for much longer, as it’s now over six months after the official retirement. The Dungeons & Dragons minifigures are available from September 1.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
