Trio of retiring LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle sets discounted – for now

Zavvi has slashed prices on a trio of retiring LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle sets, but time is running out to snap them up.

The LEGO Group has just kicked off a new modular version of the wizarding school anchored around 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall, but you shouldn’t let that deter you from completing the previous version if you were already well on the way. There’s a lot to be said for the system that originally started in 2021 with the 20th-anniversary range, from its interchangeable rooms to its unique sections of the castle.

Among those are 76413 Hogwarts: Room of Requirement and 76415 The Battle of Hogwarts, two Deathly Hallows sets that depict moments in the saga never previously seen at minifigure scale. Both sets are due to retire by the end of 2024, but Zavvi has knocked a chunk of change off each one as it whittles through its remaining supplies. The Room of Requirement is down to £39.99 from £44.99, while the climactic Battle of Hogwarts is available for £66.99 (down from £74.99).

The biggest and best discount among these three sets can be found in 76402 Hogwarts: Dumbledore’s Office, which normally retails for £79.99 – but is currently £27 off at Zavvi, bringing it down to just £52.99. You can also score free delivery on that 2022 set with no code required. The 654-piece model calls back to a 2002 set of the same name, and four of its seven minifigures are exclusive, including Madam Irma Prince and a unique Dumbledore variant.

If you’re looking to tick off a big chunk of your Hogwarts backlog in one fell swoop, now’s a great time to take advantage of discounts on these retiring LEGO Harry Potter sets. While they’re all slated to leave shelves by the end of 2024, the truth is that they could realistically sell out at any time between now and then, so don’t sleep on these Hogwarts builds if you still need to complete your modular castle.

Head over to Zavvi now to buy 76415 The Battle of Hogwarts, 76413 Hogwarts: Room of Requirement and 76402 Hogwarts: Dumbledore’s Office.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
