Rumoured details for LEGO Icons 2025 sets suggest some too-good-to-be-true prices
The first rumoured details for LEGO Icons sets due for release in the first half of 2025 come with some prices that feel too good to be true.
Instagram user lego_minecraft_goat has shared some rumoured details of seven LEGO Icons sets, expected to come out in January, March, and May of next year. While there are no set names to offer an idea of what the sets will be, most also have rumoured piece counts to give us a sense of their size.
For example, the most expensive is 10359, believed to be priced at $90 for 1,302 pieces. Looking at LEGO Icons sets currently on the market, the closest in price would be 10338 Bumblebee at $89.99 – but only 950 pieces. That would mean that this rumoured set, if the details are true, would include 350 more pieces for the same price.
It’s the same story if we draw parallels at other price points too. Where 10342 is reportedly 450 for 749 pieces, 10270 Poinsettia is $49.99 for 608 pieces. If the details are true, we certainly won’t be complaining and we’re sure other LEGO Icons fans won’t be either.
Another interesting point to pick out is that 10347 will reportedly have a different age range. Where LEGO Icons got its start as the Adults Welcome range and has typically been associated with builds geared towards adults, it seems that the LEGO Group has a different idea for this set specifically. This might look like a display-ready set with simpler build techniques to suit a younger builder, but we’ll have to wait and see just how that shapes out.
For now, we’ve summarised all the rumoured details in the table below. Of course, we won’t know for sure whether any of the information is true until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group, so take it with a pinch of salt until then.
