Rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2024 set could pave the way for more separatist ships

According to rumours, a rare sight in LEGO Star Wars is coming next year and it could be paving the way for more separatist ship models.

While smaller spacefaring vessels including shuttles and droid gunships have had their place in LEGO Star Wars, there’s one glaring omission in the theme apart from a single set – Separatist flagships. Rumour has it that this is all about to change and it’s hopefully just the start of something new for the theme.

A new report from  Promobricks’ Max Börnicke states that 75377 Invisible Hand could be coming in 2024 as a midi-scale model. Should this rumour be true, it would only be the second Separatist flagship model following 9515 The Malevolence from 2012.

That model is arguably midi-scale too, despite its limited functionality with minifigures. The rumours suggest that the second LEGO Separatist flagship model could consist of 502 pieces for €52.99.

Provided the reports of a midi-scale collection of LEGO Star Wars ships said to be coming in 2024 are accurate, 75377 Invisible Hand may be making way for more ships from the Separatists. Considering the recent release of the colossal 75367 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser, the Separatist’s time in the LEGO sun is long since due.

Aside from the Malevolence, the most prominent ships that could benefit from a midi-scale model are the Trade Federation Battleship and the Munificent-class star frigate as seen in the prequel trilogy and The Clone Wars.

For now, rumour states that 75377 Invisible Hand is coming next year, but it is far from confirmed and should be taken with caution.
