Rumours appear to support LEGO Gringotts Vault GWP theory

Online rumours seem to suggest the theories that LEGO Harry Potter 40598 Gringotts Vault will connect to the enormous bank are true.

While this is far from confirmed as of yet, without any official word from the LEGO Group, more rumoured details are circulating about LEGO Harry Potter 40598 Gringotts Vault. Namely, it’s suggested to be on its way in a few short weeks, becoming available on September 1 alongside 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition – and just in time for the return to Hogwarts, of course – as reported by 1414FalconFan on Instagram.

Although no threshold has been suggested yet, 40598 Gringotts Vault is still rumoured to be available as a GWP. Other further details reported by 1414FalconFan are that it will include a goblin minifigure and that a popular theory that the smaller set will connect to 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition via an open Technic connector. It’s believed that 40596 will include a vault, a section of track, and a minecart, essentially expanding the underground portion of the wizarding bank.

As it stands, 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition already includes three vaults (at or at least visible vault doors), so having one more to build onto the build would expand it well, especially if you’re planning to display the upper and lower sections of the bank separately.

Of course, until we get official confirmation from the LEGO Group, we won’t know for sure what this GWP might or if and when it will actually be coming. Still, with September 1 just around the corner, if it’s true, we’ll expect to hear for sure sometime soon.

I write about all the very best fandoms – and that means LEGO, of course. Spending so much time looking at and talking about LEGO sets is dangerous for my bank balance, but the LEGO shelves are thriving. You win some, you lose some.

Hi, I appreciate you are generally talking to a specific fanbase who are well-versed in the relevant acronyms of the fandom but it would be a good idea to include a bracketed explanation of what they mean in the 1st instance of use for people who are new or don’t know.

If I have missed the meaning somewhere in the article then please ignore the above ?
