There’s a few sets missing from LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising

Now that the first 10 episodes of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising are out, there are a few sets missing from the animated series.

This article features spoilers for episodes one to 10 of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising.

10 episodes of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising introduce a lot as the team explores a new merged world and tries to understand what caused the world-changing event.

Over the course of the series so far, we’ve seen many of the latest range’s models appear, offering some context to the sets. However, three have yet to be featured, possibly featuring in the second part of the series.

Announced as part of the original press release, a second part to LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising is coming with another 10 episodes in autumn. Those who have watched the first 10 episodes will have noticed that 71791 Zane’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Race Car, 71794 Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team Mechs and 71795 Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores have yet to be seen.

71791 Zane’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Race Car seems likely to play a part in part two given that Zane only appears towards the end of the first part and 71794 Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team Mechs and Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores may feature when Lloyd and Arin’s roles as student and master develop further.

71795 Temple of the Dragon Energy Cores may have been teased in the series with the symbols featured on the wall featured in Lloyd’s vision as well as Nya’s discovery of a strange location on a map in the Cloud Kingdom.

With the strange Spirit of the Temple minifigure, this place seems likely to play a key role in the second part of LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising.

We’ll note that the 4+ sets, spinners and 71799 NINJAGO City Markets also have yet to feature in LEGO NINJAGO Dragons Rising but based on previous sets, they may not be based on anything in the animation.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
