Six of the most bought LEGO deals from the last week

Check out what LEGO deals other Brick Fanatics readers have been snapping up over the past week, from Collectible Minifigures to brand-new Star Wars ships.

We brought our readers dozens of deals over the past week or so, ranging from flash sales on familiar sets like LEGO Ideas 21330 Home Alone at Zavvi to brand-new opportunities to save on recent releases at GAME. Savvy shoppers have snapped up some of those deals, with some always proving more popular than others.

If you’re unsure which to go for, we thought we would gather together some of the most popular LEGO deals in one place. First up is 75379 R2-D2, the perfect companion to the recent release, 75398 C-3PO, and currently discounted by £18 at GAME. Another popular purchase from the retailer is 75374 The Onyx Cinder, now available at a discount using the Frasers Plus membership – scroll down for more details on that.

Zavvi is a pretty reliable source of discounts and, even if they’re not always the biggest, it’s the place to look for some early discounts on sets that have only been out for a few days. Particularly popular ones are 75396 Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit and 75389 The Dark Falcon, as well as the flash sale on 21330 Home Alone.

Last but not least, people are chomping at the bit to get their hands on 71047 Dungeons & Dragons, especially with The Minifigure Store‘s tempting offer of a box of all 12 characters guaranteed, currently available to pre-order for £69.99 right now.

Please note that for 75374 The Oynx Cinder, the offer is only available for Frasers Plus members. GAME’s membership scheme offers the chance to spread the (often discounted) cost of your purchases across three months with 0% interest, or you can settle the balance in full straight away. Acceptance to the program needs to be applied for and depends on your credit status. Remember that not paying the balance in full within three months will mean racking up interest, so we can only recommend using the Frasers Plus scheme if you have the capital available for these sets right now – otherwise that discount will be eaten up with interest fees.

The best way to take advantage of a deal like this is by signing up, ordering your sets and then paying your balance in full straight away (so as to completely avoid incurring any potential interest after the initial three-month period). It’s effectively the same as shopping with a credit card, only with a couple of extra steps – you’re still only using your available budget rather than taking on credit to pay back later – and unlocks discounts you won’t find anywhere else right now.
